i feel really good about this image. really good. it was originally a shot including the lake beneath it, but the lake was a boring colour as it wasn't sunny - it was more overcast.

i suddenly said "GOD, WHY DIDN'T I TAKE A PANORAMA OF THE MOUNTAINS?" so, i cropped it down and god, i'm so happy that i did, because it looks a billion times better.

i took this looking out to lake tekapo, i believe. god... i miss being able to just go and sit down by that lake so much.. i remember walking down to the lake just stunned at how beautiful it all was. the sun was just peering through the clouds, and there were patches of shadows painting the mountains. i hadn't really seen anything like it before. you can see that here.

it doesn't do the place justice, but god it reminds me of what it was like.
